Hello everyone!
SFW Science Hour has been on hiatus as of recent. I had an episode back in December live on WRFR that I’ve uploaded this week with Mattie Rodrigue (Episode 9). This episode is very short because of technical difficulties in the studio that day. I’ll play the Story Collider story I reference another time.
I’ve also uploaded a special Valentine’s Day episode with Thom Young (Episode 10). I featured Ari Daniel’s PRI’s The World piece on gravitational waves (a very exciting discovery this month!) on this show.
Next week check out the Soundcloud website for individual interview recordings (!) from the show. These should only be 10-20 minutes vs. the 35-50 minutes that the show usually runs.
Music breaks:
Episode 9: The Gammy Bird by Christopher Young, Starfishin’ by Amy Correia, Laisse Tomber Les Filles by France Gall.
Episode 10: The Gammy Bird by Christopher Young, Upside Down And Inside Out by Ok Go, Something To Talk About by Bonnie Raitt, Love Shack by The B-52s, I Love You by The Pipettes.
If you are interested in being on the show as a guest (you can call in, too!) or have suggestions, comments or questions, just email me at strictlyfishwrap [at] gmail [dot] com.
